North Bend to Glenn's Ferry, ID and then to Moab, UT

RV Park in Moab, UT
Yesterday morning Beau got a bath. The only problem with that is then he is usually in even more of a hurry to roll in something stinky. But I was already on to him. He got the bath right before we went to visit Guggy so at least he was clean for that. Then the kids and grandkids came over to visit, eat pizza (Patrick made), and say goodbye and he stayed clean even for that. And the next morning we got him for his morning walk without a stinky event and got him in the truck for the "big drive".
We departed pretty much on time, stopped in Cle Elum for second coffees, and made tracks on down the road with the T@B gently rolling on behind us. We drove five hundred miles plus to Glenn's Ferry and stopped at a small RV park for the night and enjoyed a nice walk through the small town before bed. In the morning we of course had coffee and continued to roll on. The drive was nice with decent weather and Peggy was the "audible book" by reading aloud an old version of Treasure island. She's a great story teller and we talked about how much the grandkids would enjoy hearing the story as an eleven year old boy was the hero. This day's drive was about five hundred miles to Moab. It was evening when we arrived and checked out several BLM campsites in the hills behind town but all were full. We turned back towards the entrance to town to a fairly large RV park and Peggy ran in to the office as they were closing and was able to score us a spot for two nights.
